Ongar Juniors hosted Herrongate this week and following a few dissapointing results the blues were determined to put on a good performance, with Joel not a available the blues had a change to their formation.
Herrongate took the lead midway through the first half with a breakaway goal and only minutes later were awarded a penalty and went two up. The blues continued to fight and it seemed they had the belief that they could come back. Early in the second half Kurtis , broke free and slotted the ball past the herrongate kepper. Dispite a brave battle by the blues the boys in orange held on but failed have even a single shot in the second half due to a solid second half performance from the Ongar midfield and defence.
